Sunmer is usually seen in the water face-up to gain solar energy. When it is hungry, however, it charges down and destroys the aquatic landscape to catch Pokémon to eat.

While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. Sunmer convert solar energy into nutrition.
