Due to being highly territorial, Swampking each claim a section of swampland and drive off any intruders. They use their powerful arms and tail to knock down foes, and rely on the toxic spikes covering their body for protection.

A Swampking's thick tail packs enormously destructive power capable of toppling a metal transmission tower. If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders.
