Swampsect dig through mud and dirt searching for tree roots to eat. Using incredible arm strength, they rip these roots right out of the ground and break off the edible parts.

Swampsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders.
