Venisaur uses the sweet scent of the flower on its back to lure in other Bug-type Pokémon. After sensing their approach with its antennae, Venisaur will attack with its venomous bite, then follow its prey until they succumb to the poison.

Venisaur's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. It discovers what is going on around it by using the feelers on its head and tail.
