Victreetine is territorial, diving at trespassers and slashing at them with the leaf at the end of its vine. It covers its mouth with a large leaf to make itself more aerodynamic during flight but opens up the leaf to scoop prey into its mouth.

On sunny days, schools of Victreetine can be seen elegantly leaping over the waves. The long vine extending from its head is waved about as if it were a living thing to attract prey.
