Warsect only goes on land for short amounts of time, hiding away in riverbeds in order to protect the mushroom on its shell. There are some people who believe eating Warsect's mushroom will increase a person's swimming skills.

Warsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. Its large tail is covered with rich, thick fur that deepens in color with age.
