Whirlilurk remain motionless most of the time. When commanded to act, they will usually begin combat by removing and bowling their head at their target. If the head misses the target, the body will wander for hours searching for it.
It is said that Whirlilurk were ordered to protect people and Pokémon by the ancient people who made them. It is usually motionless, but when attacked, it rotates at high speed and then crashes into its opponent.
