When hunting for prey in water beneath ice sheets, Shellvile often frighten other Shellvile by loudly scratching their claws against the ice. These Pokémon often flee straight into an ambush set by other Shellvile, as they usually hunt in packs.
They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination. Its colors and shapes differ from region to region.
