Shuslash withdraws inside its almost impenetrable shell to protect itself from attack. If threatened, it can strike back with incredible force, but doing so leaves its soft body vulnerable.

Apparently, it can detect the innate qualities of leadership. A Shuslash hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries.
