After discovering Skipaura pollen in rocks containing fossils, scientists believe that Skipaura can trace back their lineages to prehistoric Pokémon. Skipaura pollen is now used as a method of determining the age of rocks.
This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years. It blossoms when the temperature rises above 64 degrees F.
