Skipbat spend a fair chunk of their lives inside caves to nourish themselves off of moist, nutrient-rich moss. Once they have eaten their fill of moss, they rely on high pitched squeals to escape the cave via echolocation.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. It blossoms when the temperature rises above 64 degrees F.
