Cuna #104.14
Before cocooning itself, Cuna gathers a few bones. When something gets too close, it shoots out a bone from gaps in its cocoon to bash away the intruder and keep its fragile body safe.
Cuna use a sticky silk to attach bones to their bodies in an effort to protect themselves from danger. Some Cuna take the camouflage a step further, their cocoon taking on a bleached white hue.
It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree. It pines for the mother it will never see again.
