The bundle of tangling vines conceals Jolgela's body as protection. It coats these vines in a sticky, conductive webbing, allowing it to catch prey with them and discharge Electric-type attacks easily.
Its vines snap off easily and painlessly if they are grabbed, allowing it to make a quick getaway. They attach themselves to large-bodied Pokémon and absorb static electricity, which they store in an electric pouch.
