Walvoir appoints itself as the guardian of flocks of smaller Ice-type Pokémon in frigid regions. With a wave of an arm, it can cast a freezing blast of air or a number of psychically-controlled icicles.

It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power. To protect its herd, the leader battles anything that invades its territory, even at the cost of its life.
