Flitting to and fro above ponds, it emits a sweet scent to lure prey out of hiding. If the smell draws a Pokémon larger than itself, Surain vibrates its eyespots menacingly and retreats with haste.
It intimidates foes with the large eyelike patterns on its antennae. They gather on puddles after evening downpours, gliding across the surface of water as if sliding.
