Swampgon hangs around areas where Mudkip are common. Because of its large size, it's assumed it protects them, but in fact it is actually quite timid; the Mudkip often come to its defense as it cowers in fear of combat.

It is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data in order to enter cyberspace. If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders.
