Tormer are typically seen with their pods near capes in late summer. The blue tree-like spout of water each produces is unique to that individual.

While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests.
