Trubmer are drawn to pollutants, so many are often found near the ports of large cities. They feed on waste and gradually grow larger; it was discovered that part of their growth is due to noxious gases produced by digestion.

While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. The combination of garbage bags and industrial waste caused the chemical reaction that created this Pokémon.
