Typhvoir flares up the fire around its neck to keep others at bay, as it has a rather standoffish personality. The only exception to this rule is its Trainer, for whom it happily retracts the burning ring of flame.

It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power. It can hide behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intense flames.
