Vaporgar seems to melt into the water, becoming invisible in dim light, and will use this trick to suddenly leap out and surprise humans. Any water they swim in becomes cold and poisoned, making people who bathe in it or drink it unwell.

Deep in the night, your shadow cast by a streetlight may suddenly overtake you. Vaporgar underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater.
