Often affectionately referred to as the "pace car of the seas," Wailode's large size and shape displace so much water that it creates gyres in its wake. Other Water-type Pokémon often use these currents to travel more quickly.
Wailode can inflate its body in order to float to the ocean surface. Fishermen take care to avoid this Pokémon, as it can unleash 10,000 volts of electricity on impact.
