The plant on its back is constantly growing, as fast as the flames flickering within it consume it. If Bulbaquil gets angry, it may briefly turn into a roaring blaze, but once it is burned up, Bulbaquil will calm down until the plant regrows.
Bulbalava will turn its back on enemies it intends to attack before firing off burning, razor-sharp leaves from its tail. This plant will regrow as fast as the flames consume it.
Bulbalosion stores a smoldering fire inside the heatproof bulb on its back. If the bulb is opened, the flame within will quickly flare up into a raging inferno.
Bulbabink hide themselves by burying their heads in the ground, to resemble nothing more than a bulb. While this avoids the attention of many predators, it does not deter herbivores.
Voltmime is a master juggler. While it often uses Pokéballs, it prefers to juggle Voltorb, as nothing holds the attention of an audience better than balls that explode if dropped.
Voltmar intimidates foes by brightly flashing arcs of electricity out of its head and tail. This lightning is hot enough to burn as well as shock.
The red and white balls on Voltby's head are how it stores both heat and electricity. If it absorbs too much of either form of power, it will become dangerously volatile.
Voltmortar fires out projectiles that resemble Great Balls. On impact, these detonate, releasing either fiery explosions or crackling arcs of electricity.
Voltblim uses its cables to attach itself to the top of tall buildings. During thunderstorms, it feeds off the electricity passing through their lightning rods.
Voltom is charged by electricity generated by movement, and prefers to clip onto its Trainer's belt as they walk. Some people carry around a Voltom without realizing it, mistaking it for just a toy and interacting with it only via its buttons.
Wild Voltom are usually found in Pokéball factories, and some believe they can be created if Rotom possesses machinery manufacturing Pokéballs. So far, nobody has proven that it can form through any means except for the fusion of two Pokémon.
Voltpet can close its eyes and shut off its crackling electricity to resemble an ordinary Pokéball. If anyone picks it up, it may painfully shock them, or even explode in their hand.
Voltpet's body crackles with malevolent energy. It is said that Voltpet can be formed whenever a vengeful spirit encounters a discarded Poké Ball.
Voltfly's most striking feature is the Poké Ball pattern on its wings. It jabs its long mouth into electrical circuits to feed on the current.
The bright sparks flashing from the cable it holds can be seen for long distances at night. Voltmise can strike foes with it to deliver electric shocks, or crack it like a whip to direct the movements of other Pokémon.
To hunt, Voltdaunt submerges its body underwater, leaving only its Pokéball-shaped nose above the surface to lure in Pokémon Trainers. As the person reaches out to grab it, Voltdaunt will try to seize their arm with its electrically-charged claws.
Electrmar seek out electric energy to feed on. They hate cold environments and warm up by breathing out flames, so they frequently cause electrical fires at power plants and substations.
Electrmortar stores up an immense amount of heat inside its round body. It can use this to generate electricity or vent it as fiery blasts from the ends of its arms, but it may also explode at any moment by suddenly releasing it all.
Electrmortar stores up electrical energy until its head crackles with lightning. While this power is mostly used to fire off projectiles shaped like Great Balls at high speed, a chain reaction within Electrmortar's body can trigger a fiery explosion.
Electrblim's large and distinctively patterned bodies have been used as floating advertisements for Pokéballs. However, they have a tendency to float away, and may never be seen again.
Electrloon floats through the air, propelled by the wind. If it collides with overhead power lines, it will latch onto them with its dangling cables and feed off the electricity.
Exeggugrowth's three heads are bound together by a thick tangle of green tendrils. Strong sunlight causes these vines to grow even thicker.
Exegguking's wooden tail is strong enough to topple trees, but it seems to only do this to bring more light to the forest floor. It is most destructive in forests with lots of Exeggcute on the ground, but carefully avoids crushing any of them.
Its three heads make Exegguduo too unwieldy to fly well, but it can run with impressive speed. On cloudy days it will remain on the move until it reaches a patch of sunlight to bask in.
Exeggudrio's long and powerful legs carry it long distances. In arid environments, it will travel long distances in search of water to stop its green leaves from drying out.
Marochan's face and fists are both covered by a thick layer of bone. It can deliver punches with devastating force, and any foe that tries to strike it in the head is likely to do more damage to its own fist than to Marochan.
Its coloration acts as camouflage as it burrows in the sand. If any predators do spot it, it will drive them away with powerful swings from its long bone club.
Maroperior prefers to fight up close, grabbing foes with its arms and then stabbing them with the rotating drill on its nose. The bones it uses as armor are more durable than solid rock.
Marokiss will watch over any lost child it encounters in the wilderness. If any other Pokémon approach, it will drive them away by dropping its heavy bone from above.
Marokyu will lash out with their bone at any unfamiliar person or Pokémon that tries to approach them. If their trust is won, they can be very affectionate and will softly purr if their skull is petted.
Although its legs can extend like springs, it doesn't actually need to make contact with foes with its kicks. Simply directing them in the right direction will result in the target feeling a powerful hit.
The glowing plasma connecting its legs to its body can expand and contract at will. When Hitmontom travels by levitation, it holds itself in position as if about to deliver a flying kick, and will not relax until it has struck a target.
Although the stick Hitmonkyu uses to carry around its false foot looks thin and fragile, Hitmonkyu can strike foes with it with great force. Hitmonkyu can also use it to hop around quickly, riding on top like a pogo stick.
Hitmonsect drives away competitors from the trees it feeds on using kicks from any of its four powerful legs. It can stretch these legs out to increase its reach, or to lift up its mushroom body into the air to shower down spores on foes below.
Hitmonmime never physically strikes its foes, but by punching the air it can cause foes to feel the impact. Interestingly, these attacks are still powered by Hitmonmime's muscles rather than by mental exertion.
The red padding on its skull is as hard as rock, but still protects its brain from impacts. Although its arms are small, it can rapidly push its head forward to strike as if it were punching.
People struck by one of Hitmonoir's punches experience a brief vision of an eerie landscape. It has been suggested that being knocked unconscious by Hitmonoir would enable communication with the dead, but there is a risk of never waking up.
Hitmontom floats around its opponent's head, delivering powerful punches with its small fists. Each impact is accompanied by a bright flash of light.
Although Hitmonkyu's boxing glove on a stick seems like it would immediately break if used, it can strike with the force of a punch without snapping. Hitmonkyu doesn't usually mean to harm other Pokémon, and is just playing roughly.
The caps of the mushrooms on its back have become toughened by many impacts. Hitmonras can leap upwards with great force, striking foes from below with these fist-like protrusions.
Hitmonsect will drive off any competition for the trees it feeds on using powerful strikes with its forelimbs. To avoid injuring itself as it delivers these blows, Hitmonsect holds tough red mushroom caps in its claws.
Lickimime uses every part of its body in its silent impersonation of other Pokémon. Many of its impressions are only possible through the creative uses of its dexterous tongue.
If Lickibull sees anything new, it familiarizes itself with it by licking. It is surprisingly timid, and will flee if it doesn't like the taste, or if anyone manages to evade more than three of its licks.
Berries rot inside Koffckle's hollow body, generating the foul-smelling gases it controls. This gas is highly volatile and may explode at any moment, although the rocky shell will remain undamaged.
The air Koffloom breathes out is filled with toxic spores. The way it lowers its head makes its heavy breathing sound like snoring, but if any foe approaches, it will suddenly lash with one of its arms.
If threatened, Koffish will vent a toxic gas that carries its mushroom spores. The horrible stench is usually sufficient to drive any threat away, so it rarely needs to release more than a small puff.
Metamime has a thick skin. It has the ability to harden itself against any criticism of its pantomime act until it becomes incapable of taking any feedback.
Metatom hangs from a tree branch made of glowing plasma. Since this branch floats in the air, Metatom can be found floating anywhere and often surprises people by hanging inside their homes.
Metatom hangs from a large branch made of plasma. Although Metatom positions itself next to trees to try to hide, the bright glow of its plasma will make Metatom's location obvious, especially at night.
People struggle to breath inside the thick clouds of gas Weerai produces, and often pass out. Since the gas also has hallucinogenic properties, it is difficult for people trapped in it to tell if they are awake or inside a nightmare.
The toxic gas Weeloom expels from its head and tail is especially potent against fungi. The spores it carries are immune to its own toxins, enabling them to grow into mushrooms without competition.
The balloon Weekyu carries is inflated with volatile gas. It never seems to stop leaking out toxic fumes, and if it bursts Weekyu will just inflate another one.
Weeish's body consists of two separate mushroom caps, one growing on top of the other, doubling its production of toxic spores. The marking on its body seems to function as a warning to potential predators that it is incredibly poisonous.
Weegar constantly breathes out foul-smelling gas. It can control the direction its breath flows to poison foes at a distance.
Rhymo-o is completely covered by hard ceramic scales, which regrow as soon as they are broken by an attack. It fight using swings of its fists and tail and stabbing thrusts with its horn.
The horn on its forehead has tremendous destructive power. Most of the time, Rhylax has no motivation to use it for anything.
Rhyswine resembles an ancient relative of Rhydon, which also had thick fur and fat to protect it from the cold. Rhyswine's long, curved horn is used both as a weapon and as a tool to dig in the snow.
The drill on Rhyking's nose can spin at high speed, but usually only rotates slowly. Rhyking uses it to bore holes into tree trunks so that it can drink sweet sap, and uses the vibrations its drilling creates to shake fruit out of branches above.
Chandactyl fly around in search of Pokémon that have recently been revived from fossils, then share the nutritious eggs they lay with them. Eating these eggs seems to help these Pokémon adapt to the modern world faster.
Changar will attack prey by swooping down from above and striking them on the head with the egg-shaped club on the end of its tail. Changar is not particularly strong, but is tough enough to do this repeatedly until it brings its opponent down.
Wild Chandra are rarely encountered by anyone except shipwrecked seafarers floating on rafts. Just as food is beginning to run out, Chandra will appear to share their nutritious eggs.
The substance that drips into Chantank's pouch is neither milk nor egg, but a combination of the two. While it can be used for baking, recipes require modification.
Chanvire's electrically charged tails can pulse to fill people and Pokémon with energy. The sensation this causes has been described as a pleasant tingling that reduces pain and fatigue.
Chanterra has a miniature Pokémon Center on its back. Although it is too small for anything but the smallest of Pokémon to reach inside, the eggs stored within can heal any injury.
Chandile use their delicious eggs to persuade gangs of predatory Pokémon to let them join. Although Chandile are not formidable fighters, they take care of their allies as they hunt for food together.
Incredibly kind-hearted, Chanchop is always willing to use its strength to help others. The more physically demanding the task, the more excited it is to begin.
Chanchoke exercises its arms by always carrying around an egg of immense size, replacing it the next morning if it cracks. Nobody knows where it gets them from.
Chanchamp follows a strict training regimen that requires it to eat four Pokémon eggs every day. If it cannot keep to this diet, it begins to lose its will to fight.
The egg that Chanster carries is highly nutritious, but its contents are jelly-like and taste of seafood. Both the eggshell and the spiky horn on Chanster's head are made of ice, and gourmets claim that its egg is best served cold.
Tankhan constantly caresses the child in its pouch with its many vines. If it is unable to fight off an attacker, it will break off some of its own vines and throw them aside as a wriggling distraction, since these tendrils quickly grow back.
Tantic lives in crystal-clear lakes, stretching out its body in the shallows close to shore to catch as much sunlight as it can. If anything touches one of its vines, that vine will break away as Tantic retreats to the depths.
If the baby in its pouch ever wanders off, Kangasros guides it back by flashing the bright light on its tail. It uses the same light to blind any Pokémon that threatens its child.
Kangasesect is protected by metallic armor, but skilled attackers can strike its glowing weak points to deal massive damage. Attacking the pilot will not incapacitate Kangasesect, and it will fight much more aggressively if this small Pokémon is harmed.
Kangastom seeks out humans that will take good care of the infant displayed on its screen by regularly pressing buttons to feed and praise it. If neglected for too long, Kangastom may shock its Trainer with electricity.
Kangastom's two heads are inseparable, and anyone that tries will either be shocked or struck by invisible limbs. Kangastom seems to desire companionship, and wild Kangastom sometimes accompany humans out walking their children or Pokémon in strollers.
Kangastom seeks out humans that will take good care of the infant displayed on its screen by regularly pressing buttons to feed and praise it. If neglected for too long, Kangastom may shock its Trainer with electricity.
Horas has coral growing out of its hard shell. It will seek out clean, clear waters to enable this coral to flourish and receive nutrients from it in exchange.
If threatened while on land, Horta conceals itself within a cloud of steam. To attack, it shoots jets of hot water from its mouth.
Seaotto nest on cliffs, diving down into the ocean to grab prey with their talons. If anyone tries to approach, they will fend them off using the sharp, poisonous feathers of their wings.
Trainers should be careful not to touch Seata's fins. Although they are not on fire, they hold a poison that burns as painfully as Seata's fiery mane.
This aquatic equine can be found galloping across the tops of waves. If it encounters another Pokémon, it will try to race them to the shore.
It sings songs as soothing as the sound of flowing water. If an opponent is not lulled to sleep by its voice, Golpuff will lower its head and charge forward with its horn.
Seahorn swims through the water in straight lines, punching a hole in any object it collides with. It doesn't seem to have any use for the holes it makes with its horn, but it always seems to be determined to make more.
It flaps its fins like wings to propel itself through the water. While it swims slowly, it can still strike foes with impressive force using its horn.
Although fastest on land, their flowing fins also make them strong swimmers. When challenged on land or while in the water, Seadash will lower their horn and charge as fast as they can at their opponent.
The stars on the ends of its tentacles give Starstar extra grip when seizing prey. While these occasionally break off during a struggle, each of them can quickly regrow.
Star Jr. create bubbles strong enough to balance on, and then try to dance in imitation of people they see. If music is playing, their red orbs will flash in time to the beat.
The light in its eyes and chest normally flickers slowly, but pulses faster during combat. In addition to blasts of water and fire, Starziken will strike with the sharp claws on its hands and feet.
At night, its red core constantly glows. To make it the light blink on and off, Starster rapidly opens and closes its shell.
Starstar's unusual body plan and constant broadcasting of mysterious radio signals have led some to speculate that it has an extraterrestrial origin. In a recent movie, the aliens were all played by Starstar.
Starziken's body resembles a shimmering liquid and seems to reflect starlight even in the day. While Starziken's graceful movements flow like water, its limbs still strike foes with great force.
The coloration of its body comes from minute crystals embedded in the rock. If its surface becomes wet, it will glitter like a starry sky under bright lights.
Analysis of its metallic body indicates a similarity to iron from meteorites. It never rusts and can withstand the crushing pressure of the ocean floor.
Starkazam can communicate by emitting and receiving radio waves. While few Pokémon other than Starkazam will tune in to the right frequency, this can grant them awareness of events happening hundreds of miles away.
Both in water and on land, Starkazam moves its body around using its own psychic power. On starry nights, it will float above the ocean, the crystal on its head glowing.
Pokémon poachers have attempted to steal Starster's gemstone. So far none have succeeded, as Starster can tightly clamp its shell closed, or blast out water to flee at high speed.
Mr. orb lack limbs, and cannot perform as anything other than a comedic prop. They usually seek out jugglers and clowns to be their Pokémon Trainers.
Mr. cute has a small club of obsessive fans who regard it as the most adorable Pokémon in the world. One of its fans convinced an egg company to make Mr. cute their official mascot.
Mr. wak find nothing more entertaining than striking people and Pokémon over the head. While they always use balloons, in combat they fill these with dirt rather than air.
Mr. lee acts like an overly-serious martial artist. This makes it very entertaining for its audience whenever it misses a kick, loses its balance and falls over, although these pratfalls are always intentional.
Mr. chan uses its mastery of martial arts for slapstick comedy. While it can hit hard enough to break boards, it can also precisely pull its punches to avoid harming other performers as they comically throw themselves to the ground.
Mr. pod's preferred way to entertain people is to remain perfectly still for days on end. It is rumored that there is a Mr. pod that hasn't moved a muscle for more than a decade.
Mr. sey is always eager to share its egg, and the egg also appears to be enthusiastic about being cracked. So far, nobody is known to have ever accepted this offer.
Mr. deen is a popular addition to aquariums that is intended to appeal to children. Despite being referred to as clownfish, it is no funnier than any other type of fish Pokémon.
Mr. king finds it difficult to pantomime as anything except other fish Pokémon. The trick it shows off most often involves pretending to have a horn, and then using this invisible horn to punch holes in solid objects.
Mr. mie can gesture with any of its limbs to create glowing pink barriers, in mid-air or underwater. It can grab onto these surfaces to move in any direction, even straight up.
Mr. karp may seem to be flailing around helplessly, but it is not. It simply does a perfect impression of a Magikarp any time it has an audience.
Although the sight of Mr. dos in a town usually fills residents with terror, it only pretends to rampage, careful to avoid breaking anything. If challenged to a battle, it will fight in earnest.
Its long body is too heavy for its small legs to support. To move through the air, Mr. dos pretends to hold its breath and mimes the act of swimming.
Mr. to is a master of impersonations. Even without using Transform, it can perfectly mimic the mannerisms and movements of any person or Pokémon.
Mr. drill uses mime to mark out the borders of its territory, leaving behind psychic energy that fills would-be trespassers with fear. Anyone who ignores this warning will be stung without mercy.
Mr. hoot has numerous party tricks it can perform, including standing on one leg for hours and hooting at exact intervals of time. It is not in high demand as an entertainer.
Mr. dos creates its web using the power of mime. Only creatures that know the web is there can be caught in it, and so Mr. dos rarely has much success as a hunter.
The tufts of hair on its head are recognized by other miming Pokémon as a sign of its authority. In the wild, each Mr. toed silently leads its own troupe of performers.
Mr. toed has an unexpected enjoyment of travelling fast. It will use silent gestures to try to convince swift-swimming Water-type Pokémon to let it ride on their back.
Mr. pip drifts on the wind, held aloft by balloons it inflates. If it sees a child, it will try to lower itself down low enough to be caught in their hand.
Mr. pom can juggle with all three of its hands. This enables it to invent intricate juggling patterns that would be impossible for any human to replicate.
Mr. krow perform comedy acts in exchange for shiny trinkets. They will occasionally use their performances to distract humans while other Pokémon steal from them, hoping to share the spoils afterwards.
By inflating itself with air, Mr. fish can float in the air like a balloon. When showing off this trick at parties Mr. fish is careful not to fire off any its poisonous spines, but it is still not safe to touch.
By inflating itself with air, Mr. fish can float in the air like a balloon. When showing off this trick at parties, Mr. fish is careful not to fire off any of its poisonous spines, but it is still not safe to touch.
Mr. dour never shows any sign of being happy. It seems to appreciate other people's attempts to try to cheer it up, but remains stoically silent even in the most comedic of situations.
Mr. doom reveals itself in a flash of fire, a chorus of eerie howls heralding its arrival. This is all merely an act, intended to make a strong first impression on potential Trainers.
Mr. top spins around on its head at high speed. Since it moves too fast for anyone to see it miming, it instead performs by tracing intricate circular patterns across the stage.
When Mr. bok mime with their arms, they treat the pattern on their hood as if it were their face. Despite its expression being unchanging, these performances can still be very expressive.
Mr. pom mimes using its tails rather than its arms. Over time, the tails become stronger while its arms become weaker.
Mr. magius's hand movements resemble gestures used in spellcasting. Although it mostly uses its occult power for stage magic, it is rumored that Mr. magius is capable of much more.
Mr. krow seek out powerful people or Pokémon, then ingratiate themselves by playing the role of a jester. Careful observation finds them using this privileged position to manipulate others for the benefit of Mr. krow.
Skilled at sleight of hand, Mr. vile broadens the appeal of its act by recruiting four or five talented Pokémon. After they perform in front of an audience, Mr. vile collects food as payment and inevitably claims the largest share.
Skilled at sleight of hand, Mr. vile broadens the appeal of its act by recruiting four or five talented Pokémon. After they perform in front of an audience, Mr. vile collects food as payment and inevitably claims the largest share.
Mr. gon-Z prefer to perform for a virtual audience, recording their miming and making it available online. Computers that download and play these files frequently lose the ability to connect to any other devices.
Mr. tomb can entirely retract its body inside its burlap sack, with the exception of its hands. While totally silent, it is capable of performing 108 different impersonations.
Mr. bite mimes to earn coins, which it hoards in its underground lair. By waving its hands, it can create barriers to prevent thieves from getting close to its treasure.
With one movement of its wing, Mr. chomp can slice through objects without even touching them. It uses this ability to finely dice its food until the pieces are small enough to swallow.
Mr. queen are incredibly demanding and will refuse to perform unless all the requests they mime out are met. They can be very affectionate towards less experienced performers and will defend their interests just as insistently.
Mr. klang's mechanism constantly turns, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, and sometimes in reverse. Although this turning doesn't seem to do anything except occasionally ring a bell, some people find it entertaining enough to watch for hours.
The illusions Mr. ark create become tangible as long as people believe in them. While their elaborate fantasy landscapes can draw large crowds, it will all melt away as soon as the suspension of disbelief is broken.
Mr. king are incredibly proud and only perform pantomimes in imitation of powerful Pokémon. Their performances can be just as destructive as the real thing, especially when Mr. king stomp their feet on stage with enough force to cause earthquakes.
Although Mr. dile looks like it is always smiling, this is just the natural shape of its toothy jaws. It will encourage people to approach using mime, but this is just how it lures in prey.
It can reshape its body with minimal effort, as it seems to be constructed from flexible putty. While Mr. odor makes use of this ability to push the boundaries of what pantomime can portray, most people find it too disturbing to watch.
Mr. odor augments its performances by producing strong smells, intended to be evocative of whatever it is miming. While bearable from a distance, audience members who are close find the stench overwhelming.
Mr. tump bounces along on its spring, pantomiming with its arms as if it were in a box. It frequently collides with its own box as it hops along.
When not performing, Mr. tump has a box it hides within like a shell. It can spring out at any time, but if the handle is turned by a person, music will play to wake Mr. tump up, and then it will suddenly leap out to surprise that person.
Mr. venant uses the invisible barriers it creates to trap other Pokémon. It then pantomimes as if it were a puppeteer, using this to manipulate the movements of other Pokémon as if using invisible strings.
Mr. ria loves to perform on stage, dancing around while swishing its fluffy wings. It creates invisible barriers around itself that each hum in a different tone when air pushes up against them, which Mr. ria uses to create music.
For additional protection, Mr. apex pantomimes as if it were inside a larger structure. Touching these invisible barriers is not recommended, as they have sharp edges that can cause painful cuts upon contact.
Mr. nea live in harsh environments, but seek out human settlements. They will wait outside people's houses during the night, and wave their thorny arms to greet people in the morning.
Mr. ras has a very convincing ability to act like a zombie. Many observers are fooled into thinking that the bulbous red mushroom on the back of its head has already taken over its brain.
Mr. rorus uses mime to create barriers that float in the air. Their psychic force is more durable when snow is falling, and will gradually become covered by intricate frost patterns.
Mr. rorus uses mime to create barriers that float in the air. Their psychic force is more durable when snow is falling, and will gradually become covered by intricate frost patterns.
Although Mr. sect can pantomime, this is only by reflexively mimicking others around it. The mushroom on its back compels it to seek out dark, damp buildings to perform in, where the spores it produces will flourish.
The three bodies of Mr. trio perform in unison. If one of them is distracted, nothing the other two mime with their heads and hands will materialize.
Ominous rumbling may be heard from within Mr. rupt, especially during the performances of other entertainers. However, the explosion usually only blasts out confetti at a suitable moment.
Mr. goose pantomimes on stage with impressive speed and agility. It has a tendency to start feuds with rival performers, which may escalate into violent attacks with its sharp claws.
Mr. viper finds it difficult to pantomime with no limbs. It will hold a grudge against any performer who upstages it and may attack them with its poisonous tail.
Mr. eal's body is incredibly soft and bouncy. It enjoys being thrown around by other performers, as it will be unharmed by the impact, only making an amusing squeaking sound.
While it can impersonate other Pokémon, Mr. duck's favorite act is to pretend to be a Golduck. The impression is so convincing that Mr. duck can pick up objects using a beak it doesn't have.
If its audience cannot guess what Mr. ape is miming, it will quickly become frustrated. It will make gestures with increasing force until it breaks nearby objects and threatens the safety of anyone within reach.
Mr. wag's lack of arms severely limits the number of impressions it is capable of doing. This does not seem to demoralize it, and it will mime as much as it can using only its face and tail.
Mr. whirl moves its hands in circles as it mimes, much more so than a Mr. Mime. Many people find the constant movement hypnotic.
Mr. wrath has powerful muscles that never tire, enabling it to mime continuously for the entire day. If after all that effort it fails to entertain anyone, Mr. wrath will become violent.
Mr. choke constantly trains its strength by lifting invisible weights. When it creates barriers in the air, it can use them to push foes around with great force just by miming a shove.
Mr. choke adopts the persona of a circus strongman. If it isn't currently tossing around heavy objects for the entertainment of a crowd, it will strike poses that flex as many of its muscles as possible.
Mr. champ devote themselves to clowning with the same dedication that Machamp reserve for martial arts. A Mr. champ currently holds the world record for the most cream pies thrown in a minute.
Mr. bell uses the hand at its rear end to grab onto tree branches and swing its body back and forth like a bell. Aside from the rustling of leaves, it never makes a sound.
Although Mr. cool cannot mime much with only two tentacles, this doesn't seem to bother it. It spends most of its time drifting on ocean currents, completely relaxed.
Mr. ler's favourite performance involves dramatically falling off a ledge. Although it is never actually harmed, it pretends that it has broken into pieces and needs to be put back together.
Its body is surprisingly soft and springy. It can throw itself off the side of a mountain in order to bounce up onto another one.
While it doesn't have teeth, the Shellder on Mr. bro's tail often bites down during performances, interrupting its miming as it yelps in surprise. The audience usually finds this hilarious.
Mr. drio's three heads act as a comedic trio. One is overly serious, another plays the fool, and the third pretends to be enraged by their antics.
Mr. eel will lift their entire body up to stand on their tail, then begin miming with their hands. Maintaining their balance is difficult, but Mr. eel will practice until they perfect it.
Whenever they climb out of the water, Mr. gong silently move their mouths as if singing. According to legend, their voices were stolen by a sea-witch jealous of their beauty.
As part of their pantomimes, Mr. mer stretch and reshape their amorphous bodies. They will happily accept filthy waste as payment for their performances, and several circuses use them to dispose of garbage.
If Mr. ster cannot stop foes with an invisible wall, its many hands will move as if throwing invisible projectiles. It is unclear exactly what they are throwing, but whatever it is can deal significant damage to enemies.
Mr. no has a mastery of hypnosis. Anyone who makes eye contact with it may find themself unable to move, only capable of silently watching the swinging of Mr. no's pendulum.
People who make eye contact with Mr. no find themselves unable to look away. The reason given is usually that they are terrified by what it might do as soon as they take their eyes off it.
Jynloom only dances in cold weather and will sway its head from side to side while singing to draw attention to its flower. Each Jynloom has a unique fragrance, which subtly changes to suit each performance.
When cold northern winds blow, Jynluff catch them with their cotton puffs and then float around in circles in the sky. Groups of them will synchronize their movements as if dancing.
Jyngrowth's body and hair are made entirely of vines. As Jyngrowth sashays around, each of them twitches in time to the rhythm.
Jyngrowth can control the movement of its long golden tresses, which are more similar to vines than hair. By making them rhythmically flow and sway, Jyngrowth can increase the appeal of its dancing.
While swimming through cold waters, Jynlord sings in a deep voice and moves its body in time to the rhythm of their song. If another Jynlord hears them, they will perform a duet as they slowly circle each other.
Jynjask dances in the air, to the rhythm of its own wingbeats. Its performance is so fast that it is hard for the eye to follow, but this only makes it more impressive.
Electakarp jump high out of the water during thunderstorms, and it is said that they will evolve if hit by lightning. However, on one occasion when an Electakarp was observed being struck, it merely fainted from the electrical overload.
Electados usually only rises above the surface of lakes during thunderstorms. If the storm ends without Electados being struck by lightning, it will break into the nearest powerplant and cause great damage in its search for high-voltage electricity.
Electachu ravenously devours electricity, but has no easy way to discharge it if it eats too much. Its fur constantly crackles with static electricity.
Electatrio only comes to the surface during thunderstorms. Its three heads each lift the arm or tail they are connected to high, trying to be the one that gets struck by lightning.
Although they seem threatening, Pinsey mostly use their horns to dig burrows, then invite in other Pokémon to live with them. Pinsey generously share the eggs they lay with these companions.
Pinrantis's brown body blends in with tree trunks, enabling it to ambush prey using the sharp, serrated blades on its arms. While the rest of its body is drab, it is incredibly proud of the vivid green coloration of its wings.
Tautor's three horned heads make its charges more difficult for foes to evade. However, each head has its own brain, and Tautor's body will not begin moving until all three have focused on the same target.
Its head is armed with sharp horns, and it can crack its many tails like a whip. Due to the immense power stored up inside its body, neither end is safe to approach.
It flies up into the air, then dives down to give more force to its charges. It is kind-hearted and will fight to protect weaker Pokémon from danger.
Magimime loves to play the role of a hapless victim in its performances. This is a role it is well-suited to, as it is incredibly weak and frail.
Despite their weak muscles, Magilix stubbornly persist in burrowing ever deeper underground. It is believed that if they go deep enough, the pressure will force them to evolve.
When faced with any threat, Magislash will curl up into a spiky ball, then blindly roll around. Although this partially protects it, it will be highly vulnerable to attacks directed at places its spines do not cover.
It scuttles along damp forest floors, searching for food. Its jaws are so weak that it can only consume wood that has decomposed enough to crumble when touched, but it seems to thrive on this diet.
Magior occasionally falls out of the sky and lands in water. While it is light enough to fly, its weak muscles cannot carry it far, and after every leap it quickly falls back down again.
When its protective shell shattered, Magior is much more vulnerable to attack. It is also lighter and can sometimes leap high enough to make it into the safety of the upper atmosphere, although most Magior fail and crash to the ground.
Magirelp try to hide among plants, but their bright coloration makes them easy for other Pokémon to spot. Since they cannot swim very fast, their main defense against predators is the fact that their flesh is poisonous.
They burrow in the mud at the bottom of lakes and ponds. They are hardy enough to survive in any body of water, and actually seem to prefer it when the water is dirty.
Weecada burrows underground with its sharp claws, feeding on plant roots. It is almost blind and navigates by feeling around with its antennae and smelling with its keen nose rather than by sight.
Weeno uses the pendulum it holds to hypnotize anyone who approaches as it feeds on leaves. If that fails, it may attack with the poisonous spike on its head instead, although Weeno prefers to flee whenever possible.
At the end of its pantomimes, Gyaramime expects the audience to applaud. If its performance flops, it will rampage in silence until the venue is in ruins.
It lives in aquifers deep underground. If humans extract too much water, it will tunnel up to the surface and shake the earth with its rage.
Gyarashrew digs hidden burrows in the sand and soil at the side of riverbanks, then waits until prey approaches the water. As soon as it is close, Gyarashrew will leap out to attack.
Although Gyaraslash has great strength, the spikes on Gyaraslash's back slow it down while swimming through water, and its tail gets in the way if it curls up into a ball to roll around on land. Because of this, it relies more on ambush than pursuit.
Gyaraslash live inside tunnels they dig into the side of riverbanks. If other Pokémon approach their burrow, Gyaraslash will rush out to attack with their sharp claws and powerful tail, relying on the spikes on their back for protection.
Gyaraslash relentlessly attacks foes with its sharp teeth and claws, as well as the spikes on its back, often with enough force that they break. This does not stop Gyaraslash from attacking, as anything that breaks will regrow within a day.
Although it is a strong swimmer, Gyarachomp's body shape means that it spends most of its time walking on the shore. This makes it much more destructive than Gyrados, as it comes into contact with humans settlements more frequently.
While it can roll across the ground, Gyaraklang will move much faster if it gets onto a set of railway tracks. This is incredibly dangerous to regular trains, as Gyaraklang will ignore signals and collide with anything that doesn't get out of its way.
Gyarasect digs into riverbanks until it exposes the taproot of a tree. It will bite down with its powerful jaws and drain nutrients from the plant until it withers and dies, before moving on to the next one.
Gyaraphox stirs pools of water with its trident to make the future visible in the ripples. This always reveals images of violence and destruction, frequently events that Gyaraphox will be directly responsible for.
Gyararelp relentlessly swim in pursuit of prey, spitting poison to try to take it down. Even if their prey escapes, their toxins are so potent that other Pokémon nearby are frequently poisoned.
Gyaragalge live in lakes and rivers, and will roar and wave their fins to intimidate other Pokémon. Although this display seems terrifying, wild Gyaragalge are less aggressive than both Gyarados and Dragalge, and only hunt smaller Pokémon.
It burrows through the earth as easily as it swims in water, but the tunnels it makes almost immediately cave in. Any human settlements above will be left in ruins.
Laporb will offer to transport other Pokémon around, but while its fins are strong, its round body is easily unbalanced. Most Pokémon that try to ride on its head quickly fall into the water.
Lapode swim towards hydroelectric powerplants to feed upon the electricity they generate, but explode if they are sucked into their turbines. To protect dams from damage, most wild Lapode have either been captured or unfused.
Laptwo moves itself underwater using psychic energy and can create pockets of air to safely bring others with it. Wild Laptwo avoid any contact with humans and spend most of their time inside caves on the ocean floor.
Although the shell on its back slows its movements on land, it can carry heavy loads by moving around on all fours. It sings gruffly as it walks to keep itself motivated.
Although rare, Laptata is sometimes found on ships. It is often seen as a pest due to eating whatever food it can find, but it is intelligent enough to be trained to carry around small objects and use its teeth for carpentry.
Lapsel are strong swimmers and climbers, and make their home atop seaside cliffs. On calm days, their beautiful singing can be heard echoing for miles out at sea.
Lapvile takes down prey with thrusts from the icy spearpoint on its arm. Its high intelligence enables it to coordinate with other Pokémon and devise complex strategies.
Although Lapking is a strong swimmer, it spends most of its time sitting on the shore. Even when it enters the water, it mostly just drifts with the current, to the frustration of anyone riding on its back as a passenger.
When driven forward by its powerful tail, Lapking's powerful horn can cut through solid ice. Polar explorers sailing in ships have sent out Lapking ahead of them to work as icebreakers.
Although Lapking's spikes make it seem aggressive, it prefers to frighten away foes by roaring instead of fighting. If it is attacked, it will face away from the foe to protect itself with its shell, then strike back with swings of its tail.
Laptom will hang around docks and jetties, disguised as a small boat. Sometimes people climb in without realizing it is a Pokémon, and are surprised when it extends out glowing plasma to row itself and its passengers through the water.
Wild Laprorus conceal themselves behind waterfalls in cold climates. Although the water falling on either side of their head shimmers like an illusion, it crashes down on any foes that do find them with as much force as the real thing.
Multiple evolutionary stones are embedded in Eeras's shell, making it a target for Pokémon poachers. In the wild, which of these stones is activated depends on the waters Eeras swims in.
Although Eeblim is blown from place to place by the wind, it can steer itself by stretching out its long tails. Each Eeblim has a preferred environment that it tries to return to.
It drifts from place to place, blown by the wind. If Eeloon remains in one location for long enough, it may begin to evolve as it adapts to local conditions.
Eeamo resembles an aquatic Pokémon, but also has a fur coat to keep it warm as it floats in the air. If it spends enough time out of the water, it may evolve into a form more suited to life on land.
Through the power of mime, Vapormime can create invisible buckets, then fill them using water drawn from the air. If this fails to impress its audience, it will drench the front row.
Vaporbat's four wing-like fins drive it through the ocean with great speed. While it can leap out of the water and fly above the waves to escape predators, it will quickly tire and must return to the sea to rest.
The cells in its body are similar to blue-green algae. When immersed in clear water, it is capable of photosynthesis.
Vaporking spends almost all of its time below the surface of lakes or shallow seas, and seems to find the sound of flowing water or crashing waves relaxing. It will slowly eat any underwater plants within reach before moving on to the next patch.
Vaporking's powerful tail is both a powerful weapon and its main means of propulsion underwater. When resting on the seabed, it can blend in with the water around it, then suddenly strike with its sharp horn.
Vaporking spends most of its time hunting for prey in underwater caves and canyons, but occasionally moves onto land to hunt. The only warning of its approach is its row of spiky fins protruding above the surface of the water.
Vaportom blasts soapy water out of its hose, which may be freezing cold or boiling hot. Since Vaportom can carefully control its water temperature, it can launder any clothes placed inside it better than most washing machines.
Adapted for life as an underwater hunter, Vaportrum's large jaws connect to gills in its throat. On land, it keeps its mouth full of water to prevent them from drying out.
Joltras thrives in stormy waters. If it is struck by lightning, it will be completely unharmed and will even regain some stamina so that it can keep swimming for longer.
Jolteon's fur stands on end with static electricity and it is sensitive to the slightest change in air currents. It can predict when thunderstorms will occur and will wait outside to watch the lightning.
If Joltchu becomes agitated, the fur of its tail will stand up into sharp points. It can fire off a barrage of electrically charged needles at any enemy it turns its back on.
Joltom constantly blows out air, cooling down people nearby. Trainers have tried to get Joltom to produce gale-force winds, but running its motor at high speed only causes arcs of electricity to discharge from it.
Despite the strong defense provided by its fluffy shell, Joltster is aggressive when threatened. It can electrify the water around it, or fire off a barrage of sharp white spines from its neck.
Flaras is adapted to a life spent swimming in natural hot springs. It can safely carry people across boiling waters, as the shell on its back always remains cool.
Flaking has a flame sac inside its body, and the less it moves, the hotter its temperature will become. Flaking will cool itself down by blowing out flames from its hands, which tend to get particularly hot.
It uses its large and nimble ears to cool its body down, as well as to listen. The spines on its back deliver a burning poison to anything that touches them.
Hot air fills Flablim's body, lifting it up into the sky. It can expel flammable gasses into the air around it, then ignite them to ascend faster, propel itself against the wind, or fight off any flying Pokémon that attack it.
Flatom can cook food by heating it up the inside of its oven-shaped body. It vents excess heat from its fluffy tail, enabling precise controlling of its internal body temperature, which bakers appreciate.
Flaloon heats up the air inside its balloon-like body, enabling it to rise. It descends by venting heat from the tufts of hair on its head and tails, creating bright flashes of flame.
It has a coat of thick fur to keep its body warm. It can deliver powerful electric shocks to foes it grasps with its arms or blast scorching heat out of its sucker mouth.
Whenever Porybra uses its psychic powers, it alters the display on nearby television screens. Unfortunately, the brightly flashing colors this creates can make people who see it fall ill.
Omaniclus's central eye directs the movements of its liquid body to strike and seize prey using tentacles made of water. The broken fragments of its rocky shell can be repositioned to protect its eye from attacks.
Omasion can fully retract its body inside its rocky shell for protection. When hunting for prey, its watery tentacles will reach out to grab two targets simultaneously, but as its single eye can only focus on one at a time, they often both escape.
Omaler's massive shell is incredibly heavy, but Omaler is strong enough to move it around the ocean floor. It will retract its body inside to hide, only emerging to ambush and seize prey that gets within reach.
Kakno remains motionless except for the slow movement of the pendulum it holds. Once it lulls people to sleep, it devours their dreams as fuel for its own dream of evolution.
The rocky shell on Kabutad's back protects it from being attacked from above as it scuttles across the ground. It is too heavy to float and will crawl along the bottom of ponds.
Kabubre hides itself at the bottom of ponds during the day. At night, it will raise the eyes atop its rocky head above the surface to watch for prey approaching the water to drink, then leap out to seize it in its arms.
Kabusect is compelled by the fungus on its back to cut down trees with its scythe-like stone claws. Once they are felled, mushroom spores released from within Kabusect's body take root in the wood as it rots.
Kabuchamp fights using both razor-sharp claws and powerful punches. Every part of its body is as hard as rock.
Aerosey carries a smooth piece of fossilized amber in its pouch. While there isn't much it can do for most Pokémon, Aerosey seems to enjoy rubbing this amber on Electric-type Pokémon to charge them with static electricity.
Although Aerown are made of heavy rock, they still float in the air. They will flap their wings as they do this, but these movements are not necessary for them to fly.
Aeroslash's sword and shield are made of hard stone. The wings on either side are just as sharp as the blade and can cut foes who manage to evade the blade's tip as it flies past.
Aeroslash's blade and shield are coated with amber, a rock formed from fossilized tree sap. The position and expression of the skull emblazoned on Aeroslash's shield will occasionally change, although only when nobody else can see it.
Aeromo-o's scales are as hard and as heavy as rock. Aeromo-o will leap up into the air, flapping its wings to gain extra elevation, then bring its fists down on foes with crushing force.
While Snorill spends a lot of time sleeping, its keen hearing means that it is easily woken up, even by the sound of its own stomach. After eating a quick meal, it will return to its nap.
It sleeps on the seabed, a thick layer of fat insulating it against the cold. Snordra always wakes up hungry, and only comes up to the surface if it can't find food in the ocean depths.
Thriving in harsh environments, Snorcor waits patiently until it can ambush prey from above. As soon as it has eaten, it falls into a deep sleep to digest the meal.
The sound of its wingbeats is so soft and soothing that Snorgon occasionally puts itself to sleep. Crashing to the ground usually wakes it up, although over time most Snorgon learn to either sleep through the impact or hover while dozing.
If the disguise it wears is damaged, it will rarely repair it right away. It will instead eat a big meal, then put off the repairs until after a long nap.
Artith spend most of their time sleeping inside either a cave or a home, keeping cool by chilling the air around them. They will only be excited to go out after snow has freshly fallen, and will move across it without leaving any footprints.
Artisian struts about with pride, as if aware of its legendary status. The dramatic movements of its shimmering wings and tail waft around freezing air, but Artisian will never slip, no matter how icy the ground beneath it gets.
Zapchamp are legendary for both their physical strength and their power over lightning. Every movement of their arms causes their wings to audibly crackle with static electricity.
Moltias floats above the ground without needing to move its wings, but can propel itself forward by firing out jets of fire. If it senses any hostility, the air around it will shimmer with intense heat.
Dratom's floating head is propelled through the air by a tail made of plasma. As Dratom ages, this tail will grow longer and brighter.
Dragophan have immense physical strength but a gentle nature, and are sometimes used as beasts of burden. While they don't mind working in the rain, they refuse to go out in cold weather.
Dragotile stores up power inside the blue orbs on its back. If a section of the forest is damaged by logging or fire, Dragotile will remove one and bury it in the ground, enabling plants in that area to grow back much more quickly.
Dragoking has an incredible amount of energy stored inside its body. To preserve this energy for evolution, it prefers to move as little as possible.
Dragoklang's two metallic gears can interlock their feathery wings to spin the blue ring encircling them. This loop affects the air around them when rotated, creating shimmering auras, spinning twisters, and even altering the weather overhead.
Dragotom's body mostly consists of a series of orbs, connected only by electricity arcing between them. It will short-circuit any electrical appliance it makes contact with, and so it usually avoids human settlements.
Dragoink's gears seem to have soft wings instead of hard teeth, but all of their feathers are made of metal. The sound made as the interlocking gears spin is a soft and musical clinking.
Dragoang's larger cog can spin at high speed to launch its smaller cog at foes, but the flapping of their many metallic wings will quickly reunite the two gears. By interlocking together again, the energy stored in their orbs can be recharged.
Dragoras is believed to have the power to change the weather by waving the orbs on its forelimbs in the air. Drizzle always seems to fall on forests in which they live, preventing Dragoras's skin from drying out.
It is said that spores from the mushroom on Dragosect's back can prolong life. Scientific analysis detected numerous toxins that would be hazardous to human health if consumed, although in small doses some may still be useful to treat disease.
It moves its glowing tail like a small Pokémon to lure in prey. It then quickly strikes with its powerful jaws, flapping wing-like fins to move its head with extra speed.
As it lurks in the ocean depths, Dragobyss can tightly coil its long body to store up power. When it lunges at another Pokémon, it will pierce through armor with its sharp horn, then insert its tubular mouth to drain fluids from within.
While it can fly, Dragoros is much faster running along the ground. If any obstacles are in its way, it can simply smash through them.
Dragodos spends most of its time underwater, but can occasionally be seen flying low above the surface of the ocean. While normally calm, if it sees another Pokémon rampaging, it will fly in to stop them, resulting in a very destructive battle.
Dragotile uses the wings on its back to glide between tree branches, enabling it to move across the forest without ever touching the ground. If it finds people lost in the jungle, it will try to lead them towards the safest route out.
Dragoklang is slow to anger, and its gears usually turn slowly. If other Pokémon around it are threatened, it will become outraged, spinning itself up to high speed, then attacking with its rapidly rotating tail and sharp spikes.
Dragosect constantly flies over forests, scattering spores that grow into mushrooms. If it encounters people in the forest it will circle above them for hours, and it is believed that this is how it spreads its fungus into human homes.
When defending its territory from intruders, Beemime is hesitant to actually sting. It will mime out the action multiple times as a warning before it makes its first attack.
Wild Beetom reside inside hives that have been abandoned by Beedrill. If any people or Pokémon think it is safe to approach, Beetom will emerge to drive them away with the twin needles on its arms.
Wild Beekyu scurry across the forest floor, constantly making a loud buzzing sound. They will jab the air with their stingers to intimidate people and Pokémon they encounter, and will use both to relentlessly attack if their disguise is broken.
Beesect serves as the host for a swarm of smaller Bug-type Pokémon, which function like cells in its body. They feed Beesect with the nectar they collect, and construct the hive on its back by chewing plants into something similar to paper.
Beeno defends its territory by swinging its stinger to hypnotize intruders. After dreaming about being repeatedly stung by Beeno, many will have a strong fear of ever approaching it again.
The psychic barriers Mewmime creates are almost unbreakable. It manifests them using only small gestures, as the purple glow of these forcefields makes their existence obvious to any observer.
Mewesect is clad in metallic armor and acts more like a machine than a Pokémon, only expressing interest in battle. While it rarely shows any affection, if treated kindly Mewesect will slowly form bonds with its Trainer and with other Pokémon.
The colorful mushroom on Mewsect's back is a genetic chimera, with different sections having different DNA. The spores they each produce have unique effects, which Mewsect utilizes in combat by propelling spores with psychic force.
There is incredible power within the mushrooms on Mewras's body, and many have attempted to use them as medicine. However, the effects they produce are too unpredictable to be useful and cause disease more often than they cure it.
The mushrooms on its body hold incredible potential, as they possess the genes of many different species of fungus. They flourish no matter where Mewras lives, rapidly adapting to any environment.
Chikosect seeks out locations that give the leaf on top of its head plenty of sunlight. After finding the ideal spot, it digs a hole in the ground with its claws and buries its lower body so that it can draw up water.
The fungus on Baysect's back is surrounded by a ring of leaves, and they exchange nutrients so that both flourish. The enticing smell of the leaves also lures in other Pokémon to have spores from the mushroom scattered on them.
The tendrils on Megaking's head give it extrasensory perception. It can wave them in the air to detect foes who try to sneak up on it, then use psychic blasts to sap their will to fight.
The soothing fragrance of Megaking's flower makes both people and Pokémon relax. Wild Megaking are usually found in forest glades, surrounded by a crowd of Pokémon slacking off together, and Trainers often join them rather than trying to catch them.
After Megaking eats all the berries from a tree, it will breathe on the plant to rejuvenate it. This causes it to produce new berries sooner, which Megaking will immediately eat, so it never needs to move far to find food.
If Megaking decides that a forest is too dark, it will topple trees with its powerful tail. It will then scatter seeds onto the forest floor and breathe onto them so that they quickly sprout into colorful flowers.
Megasect's green skin gets energy from sunlight, but it also relies on nutrients from the fungus on its back. Inhaling the spores this colorful mushroom produces can knock people out, but in small doses their relaxing fragrance can treat stress.
The bonfire on its back never goes out, although it will only smoulder if Quisaur is wet or tired. Whenever thick black smoke begins to rise from the burning branches, it carries toxins that may poison anyone who inhales it.
Quisect slices into trees with its heated claws. It seems to feed on smoke produced by the burning wood and will blast fire out of its back to prevent any attack from behind while it consumes the tree.
Quisect slices into trees with its heated claws. It seems to feed on smoke produced by the burning wood and will blast fire out of its back to prevent any attack from behind while it consumes the tree.
Wild Typhnair are incredibly elusive, usually only being briefly seen in volcanic craters before vanishing behind a shimmering heat haze. The orbs on their bodies store up heat, and Typhnair can unleash it in a fiery explosion if cornered.
Most of the time, Typhking's neck only smolders. It flares up brightly during combat, briefly raising Typhking's body temperature and filling it with energy, although it quickly cools down afterwards.
The flames on Typhking's back flicker even while it lazes around. Its rest is often disturbed by wildfires it has started, but it is too lazy to flee from the flames until the smoke becomes very thick.
The flames on Typhking's back flicker even while it lazes around. Its rest is often disturbed by wildfires it has started, but it is too lazy to flee from the flames until the smoke becomes very thick.
The spores produced by the fungus on Typhsect's back are completely fireproof. Typhsect can propel them long distances through the air by creating fiery explosions on its mushroom cap.
Totoruff are strong swimmers, paddling through the water with their four legs. They can be very friendly towards humans, but have to be trained not to express this by biting.
Crocoruff chase their prey across land and through water. While they sometimes nibble others affectionately, if they bite down on prey, they will refuse to let go.
Crocosect searches for food on beaches, devouring anything that washes up or that it can find by digging. If its claws become too worn down, they will drop off so that new ones can replace them.
It can ferry people and Pokémon across rivers on its back. However, if it gets hungry during the journey, it may turn its head around and try to eat its passengers.
Feramagius floats effortlessly through both air and water. When it whispers incantations in a low voice, foes will feel as if they have been seized in unseen jaws filled with sharp fangs.
Feramence dislikes walking on all fours. It spends most of its time flying high with its wings outstretched, or with them tucked in to dive underwater.
The scaly crests on Feraroc's head and back are just as sharp as its claws and fangs. In combat, Feraroc strikes quickly and relentlessly, using whatever part of its body is closest to its foe.
Wild Senraid seek out larger Pokémon to partner with, wrapping around their necks like scarves and sharing their food. In return, they serve as an extra pair of eyes and ears and keep watch for predators while their partner Pokémon sleep.
Furaid chooses a larger and more formidable Pokémon to partner with, then scouts ahead searching for prey. If it finds something too large to take down alone, Furaid will lure this Pokémon into an ambush by retreating back to its hunting partner.
While it can appear unsteady as it walks around of two feet, Hootring has exceptional balance. When moving between trees it can walk along thin branches without ever falling to the ground, as long as they are sturdy enough to hold its weight.
Noctmime only begins to mime after night falls. This makes it difficult to find an audience, but Noctmime is incapable of waking itself up any earlier.
Noctring hunts prey at night, grabbing it with both claws and then pecking at it with its beak. It climbs up into trees to roost on branches during the day.
Noctsect climbs up into trees to rest during the day, only waking up again in the evening. The fungal spores it scatters at night induce sleep and can be brewed into tea as a treatment for insomnia.
Although the fin on its head enables it to sense its surroundings, Ledykip is very cautious. It will only head out into the open if accompanied by other Pokémon it trusts.
Ledytomp excavate an elaborate underground tunnel network to provide them with a cool, damp, and safe place to rest. It will invite in other Pokémon to prevent it from getting too cold in winter.
In cold weather, Ledysect will seek out groups of Ledyba and huddle together with them for warmth. This transfers spores from the mushroom on its back onto their shells, which will be scattered after they fly away in warmer weather.
While it has wings to fly with, Ledkip is faster in the water, where it can use its large tail to propel itself forwards. It seeks out clear, still lakes, and swims the most on starry nights.
Ledtomp spends most of its time burrowing, as it is safer from predators underground. It sleeps there for most of the day and only comes above the surface to fly on starry nights.
Although it has wings, Ledpert rarely flies. It prefers to build its nest on the ground, surrounded by walls of earth it digs up, and defended by swings of Ledpert's powerful arms.
Ledsect feeds on underground tree roots during the day, but climbs up the trunk of the same tree on clear nights. Once it gets high enough to see the stars, the mushroom on its back scatters glittering spores into the air.
Spinaon spins its webs inside caves, often capturing Zubat. If it manages to trap a Rock-type Pokémon in its web, it will attack with its horn, relying on its own hardened carapace to minimize the damage it takes.
Spinasect weaves a large but fragile web, and most Pokémon that make contact simply break through it. However, the strands of broken webbing that stick to them carry Spinasect's fungal spores, spreading them wherever they travel next.
Ariaitar's legs enable it to climb up even vertical cliff faces. While it can spin silk, it mostly uses this to slowly lower itself down on prey from above, then attack with its sharp horn and powerful fangs.
The stingers on its head and tail are both highly venomous, and sharp enough to pierce even thick armor. It will cling to the walls of caves and canyons, then leap down to increase the impact of its attack.
Ariaizard stretches silk between its limbs to fly, using the maneuverability this provides to create webs stretching between mountains. After catching a flying Pokémon in it, Ariaizard will use its tail to set the web on fire.
The dark feathers on its body gleam in the light, but this is rarely seen since Crogeot only flies at night. Its four featherless wings beat rapidly but quietly as they move it through the air.
Crotoed can let out a high-pitched screech to summon a swarm of other Bat Pokémon. It can understand the screeching sounds they make as they fly around it, since Crotoed will then head towards prey that could only have been spotted from the air.
While propelling itself through the water using its wing-like fins, Crotortle uses its large, fluffy tail like a rudder. It rests during the day and only hunts once the water becomes dark, relying on its keen eyesight and hearing to find prey.
Because it moves itself around using magnetism rather than wingbeats, its movements can be completely silent. This enables it to stealthily approach its prey.
Croton uses magnetism to lift itself into the air and its small wings to propel itself forward. Although its body is heavy, it can still fly at high speed in short bursts.
Pidgedra claim a territory that includes both land and sea, flying and swimming around using their large fins. When roosting in trees on the seashore, they cling to branches with their flexible tail.
Chinfarig grazes on underwater plants. Its tail keeps watch as it eats, and if it spots a threat Chinfarig will brightly flash its two bulbs, trying to both dazzle and frighten.
Chinrachi floats through the ocean, its two lures glowing like lanterns. Anglers get excited if they see it in the water, as it seems to always lure in the rarest Pokémon from the ocean depths.
Chinsect live on the seabed, feeding on debris that sinks down from above. They lure in other Pokémon with their bioluminescent mushrooms, but only so that these Pokémon swim away covered with the sticky spores they produce.
Lanfarig is an aquatic herbivore, but to avoid competition it mostly eats at night, finding food in the dark using the light on its head. If any nocturnal predators approach, Lanfarig will blind them with the bright glow of its hindquarters.
Laninja's body floats motionlessly underwater, glowing with bright light to draw in other Pokémon. It is almost impossible to touch, floating away from the slightest movement, but it slowly drains the energy of anything that tries.
Lanleep anchors itself on the seabed and uses its small light to lure small prey into its mouth. As soon as anything enters, it is bitten by Lanleep's sharp teeth.
At night, Landily drags its heavy body into shallow coastal waters and uses its glowing orbs to lure prey close before stunning it with an electric shock. It mostly hunts other aquatic Pokémon, but occasionally lures in curious land-dwellers.
It rubs its face against objects it finds to charge its cheeks with static electricity. If startled, it will lose the charge in a sudden shower of sparks.
If the sky is clear and the stars are visible, Clefrade's flowers will open, and it will dance all night. By morning, it is exhausted and usually sleeps all day.
Cleflett will seek out and unearth buried meteorites, digging out large craters around them. While this can be useful to researchers, it is sometimes mistakenly thought that the meteorite has recently fallen.
The spores Togesect scatters let out small excited cries as they float through the air. When they settle, they become silent and begin to quietly grow into mushrooms.
The spores Togesect scatters let out small excited cries as they float through the air. When they settle, they become silent and begin to quietly grow into mushrooms.
Togesect's back is protected by the hard shell of a mushroom. This fungus is nourished by positive emotions, which is uses to produce spores. If the eggshell ever cracks, a massive cloud of spores will emerge, filling everyone nearby with joy.
The mushroom on Togesect's back grows taller if it is surrounded by kind and caring people. Togesect will occasionally shake this mushroom, releasing glowing spores known as joy dust.
Makhan will sometimes take its infant out of its pouch and rub it against its own wool. This doesn't harm either of them, but generates a powerful static charge to discourage other Pokémon from attacking either of them.
Mapix regularly rubs the wool on its head against its tails. This keeps it warm, and also stores up static electricity to shock any foes it comes into contact with.
While its feathered arms are muscular, in combat it mostly uses them to keep itself up in the air. It strikes down at its foes with powerful kicks instead.
Pidcolo impresses many trainers with its elaborate, high-speed aerial performances. If music is playing, it will coordinate its movements to the rhythm.
Its round body is made of tightly packed dirt. It bathes itself in dry earth to repair any damage, then shakes the dust out of its wings to leave the feathers cleaner than they were before.
Its white wool is luxuriously soft. People have tried making sweaters out of it, but found them to be uncomfortably warm and prone to giving static shocks.
Amphakhan's brightly glowing fur seems to attract Mareep, and a flock of them will follow it around. Although Amphakhan never confuses them with its own child, it will act as a protector for them all.
Amphaking's golden body glows brightly, but the light flashes on and off every few seconds. While this can be useful for lighthouses, Amphaking tends to doze off late at night, causing the light to go out until it wakes.
The three orbs at the ends of its tails glow with bright light, but also produce a lot of heat. It is believed that if they become hot enough, Amphapix will evolve.
Wild Ampharoth stay up all night, glowing brightly to illuminate their surroundings. They seem to love brightly lit cities, and sometimes even dance inside nightclubs, flashing in time to the beat.
The electrically charged mushrooms on its back can glow brightly. While feeding on rotting wood, it uses this light to frighten away competitors that prefer dark environments.
The red orbs on its back shine brightly at night, drawing in many Bug-type Pokémon. This swarm will pick up spores from Amphasect's mushroom, then carry them a long distance once Amphasect's light switches off.
On sunny days, Belluff's lightweight body is lifted into the air by rising thermals. It becomes agitated if it remains on the ground for too long, and will dance restlessly until the sun shines again.
Its wings are made of brightly colored petals, and in sunny weather it will flap them as it dances on the ground. Although other Pokémon often do not see it as a threat, it will suddenly lunge at anything that gets within reach of its sharp beak.
To nourish the flowers growing on its back, Bellras spends all day lying in the sun. At night, it digs up and eats the richest soil it can find.
The flower on Bellsect's back compels it to seek out warm and sunny places. Once it gets there, it dances in circles, giving all of its leaves plenty of light.

Mimetler tries its best to mimic Stantler, but its lack of horns makes this difficult. However, some people have reported that Mimetler can imitate the reality-distorting effect their antlers create using only subtle movements of its head.
Although unable to make any sound, Mimerua uses illusion to pretend to be other people and Pokémon. Mimerua gets much more into the role than Zorua, and will spend a long time watching others to improve its act.
Mimeel will try to imitate any trick they see, but are most often seen around Sealeo. They will mimic the way that these Pokémon balance and spin objects on their noses, and eventually become equally skilled at it.
While Happidactyl will collect any round object, they seem to be most drawn to fossilized eggs. Several dig sites and museums have been raided by Happidactyl, which flew off carrying valuable specimens.
Happigar has a fascination with eggs and will often swoop down to steal them from the nests of other Pokémon. It is often caught by the parents, as it cannot fly fast while carrying something as heavy as the average Pokémon egg.
Happidile loves eggs, specifically to eat, and will acquire them from other Pokémon by any means necessary. If it cannot find any, it may gnaw on egg-shaped rocks, but will not stop searching until it finds real food.
Happile buries itself in the ground, with only the egg-shaped rock it carries on its back exposed. If another Pokémon approaches, Happile will attack if it seems vulnerable, but will remain hidden underground if a stronger Pokémon comes close.
Happirok has excellent vision, particularly for spotting small, round objects, which it acquires through any means necessary. However, if Happirok steals an egg from another Pokémon, it will take care of it until it hatches.
It always carries at least one egg-shaped rock around with it. Sometimes, a Happichop will decide to carry around as many of these rocks as it can lift, as a form of strength training.
Happider's tongue is incredibly soft and sensitive. It licks others to show affection, especially when they seem to be upset, and a substance in its saliva seems to actually cheer people up when they are exposed to it.
Happider uses its long tongue to pick up and carry around a pearl. It may occasionally give this away to friends, but will then carefully search the seafloor until it finds another one.
Happister is unable to produce pearls of its own. Instead, it collects as many as it can find, and its shell will often be so full that there is no room to hold any more.
Happister can protect itself from harm by withdrawing inside its egg and closing its pink shell around it. It is very shy, and if frightened, it may not remerge until the next day.
Raibuzz climbs up tall buildings to use its tail as a lightning rod. After becoming charged up by a lightning strike, it will be hyperactive and unusually aggressive for the next few days.
Whenever Raieon becomes charged with electricity, its fur stands on end and crackles with static. It will not settle back down until Raieon discharges a lightning bolt from its tail.
The constant movement of its wings builds up electric charge, making Raimega more and more agitated over time. It can only calm down by discharging high-voltage electricity from its tail.
Every movement of Raicorio's wings causes them to crackle with electricity. While this makes its energetic dances more dramatic, they must be watched from a safe distance to avoid a painful shock.
Raicorio usually seems to be calm and relaxed, even in combat. However, if too much electricity builds up within its body, it may shock anyone who gets near the lightning bolt-shaped objects it holds in its hands.
Because Raicorio glow faintly in the dark, they are often mistaken for ghosts. Their tendency to perform eerie night-time dances on rooftops likely contributes to their spooky reputation.
Munchtom rolls around on the floor, devouring anything it finds on the ground. If brought into a human home it will keep the floor clean, but it treats anything that humans drop as food, including valuables dropped by accident.
Despite its small size, Munchkyu can eat an incredible amount. Nobody knows where all the food goes, but it seems to vanish inside a dark void.
In addition to being incredibly sensitive to sensitive to ocean currents, the pair of red antennae on Mansect's head flash in a hypnotic pattern. Mansect relies on them to keep it safe from predators as it searches for food on the seafloor.
Weavras swims through frigid waters, hunting for prey. A solitary Weavras will recruit other Pokémon to help it hunt, carrying them on its back to gang up on anything it seizes in its claws.
Weavsey seems to know that its golden egg is valuable to humans. It will use its gleam to attract attention, then lure Pokémon Trainers into a trap, and is willing to take a hit while its hunting partners get into position to strike.
They live in volcanic regions, banding together in small groups to hunt prey. When separated, they leave messages for each other using charcoal they create.
At night, the warm glow of Weavlure's fire promises safety to anyone lost in the dark. However, this light merely lures prey into an ambush by Weavlure and its allies.
The petals on Weavrantis's hands curl into sharp claws. Several Weavrantis will hide in foliage and produce a sweet scent to lure in Bug Pokémon, then all leap out to attack once a swarm has gathered.
Magneyu travels around the ocean, attached to the side of ships by magnetism. At night, it will climb up above the waterline and begin to emit mysterious radio waves.
Magnegross has a powerful electromagnet in each limb, each controlled by its own brain. A central brain coordinates the others, turning their magnets on or off as needed and enabling Magnegross to walk up walls made of magnetic material.
Magnerade emits a frequency that lures in Steel-type Pokémon, then traps them using its powerful magnets. Although its metallic body carries potent poison, it relies on its electrical attacks to take down its Steel-type prey.
During the day, Magnedew wanders around, emitting strange radio waves that seem to be directed towards the sun. The screw on its head has sharp edges and is poisonous to touch.
The tongues that Lickimime's body is made of are as dexterous as human hands, and taste everything they touch. It will refuse to perform pantomime on any surface that has not recently been cleaned.
Its body almost entirely consists of flexible tongues, too large to ever retract inside its mouth. When it mimes, the audience must distance themselves to avoid being splashed with saliva.
Lickibull are incredibly affectionate and express this by licking. If a Pokémon threatens someone they are close to, Lickibull will grab it with its flexible tongue and pull it into its jaws to bite it with crushing force.
Lickiking's tongue is so long that it can gather fruit from trees while Lickiking lies on the ground below. The muscles of its tongue are so strong that Lickiking sometimes pulls down entire branches by accident, giving it a powerful weapon in combat.
Lickikoth will lie beneath trees, occasionally licking the trunk. Its saliva slowly dissolves the bark, providing Lickikoth with all the nutrients it needs with minimal exertion.
Lickiroth rushes around, licking every object it encounters with its long tongue. If it likes the taste, it will continue licking, secreting enzymes that can slowly dissolve wood, metal, and even rock.
Rhyswine uses its powerful arms to firmly anchor itself to the ground before attacking with its central horn like a jackhammer. It can rotate its tusks to hook around foes and prevent them from escaping.
Its metallic claws can drill through solid rock. It can use its ability to sense aura to navigate underground, and is especially skilled at locating trapped miners.
Rhyking spends most of its time wallowing in mud, especially on hot days. It can launch rocks from its palms to damage foes, often firing these projectiles without even getting up from the ground.
Rhytom's drill is small but powerful, and it floats around, passing through walls and floors with ease. Unlike most Ghost-type Pokémon that can do this, Rhytom leaves circular holes behind it.
Once it spins its gears up to high speed, Rhyink can use its drill to tunnel through solid rock, or fire it off as a projectile. However, it will quickly rush to reunite its gears, as it cannot live for long if they remain separated.
Rhyang can spin its large mechanical drill to bore through rock. Lacking any way to anchor itself in place beyond its own weight, if the rock is too hard its body may simply spin around at high speed rather than making progress.
Tanx sashays rhythmically to lure in prey. As soon as anything gets within reach, Tanx embraces it with both its arms and its vine-like hair, then begins to slowly constrict.
Electikarp can touch the tips of its two whiskers against foes to discharge high-voltage electricity. Although it will also shock itself, this seems to only accelerate the speed at which it swims about.
It thumps its chest with its powerful arms, intimidating foes and building up an electrical charge. While its electric output is enough to power a city, it discharges it so rapidly that it is more likely to destroy the power grid.
Electisey's egg functions like a battery to store electrical energy. Electisey can discharge heart-shaped arcs of pink electricity from its tails, using these to attack foes but also to energize allies.
Electilett lies in wait underground, burying its head just below the surface. When stepped on, its two tails pop up to deliver a powerful electric shock.
Although they are all part of the same body, the three heads of Electitrio each have their own personality, making it challenging for Trainers to please them all. The largest is the most aggressive, while the smallest is the most playful.

Magmorvile remain active even in the coldest of weather. They take down prey using sudden blasts of intense heat.
It heats up rocks inside the ends of its arms. It holds them in there as the pressure builds, only firing them out as projectiles when the rock begins to melt.
Magmorking spends most of its time lounging around fires that it creates. It cooks food on the fire to make it easier to digest, but frequently burns it by not turning it often enough. It usually eats it anyway, to avoid having to gather more.
The fire in its hands never goes out, so it uses kicks instead of punches if it does not want to burn its opponent. To interact with objects like berries without incinerating them, it picks them up using its nimble tail and flexible feet.
Magmorslash's cannon fires out fireballs hot enough to melt steel. It can also load itself with regular cannonballs, firing out red-hot projectiles with enough force to demolish buildings.
Magmorslash's cannon fires out fireballs hot enough to melt steel. While the splashback often appears to set its own wooden body on fire, it is never actually damaged by this, although flammable objects should be kept far away from it.
Magmorklang's wheels are turned by the expansion of steam inside it, using heat generated by Magmorklang's internal furnace. The faster it moves, the hotter its body will become.
The bell-shaped protuberance on its head fires narrow beams of intense heat, hot enough to cut through metal. Once it has used this to bring down prey, Magmorish devours it with its gnashing teeth.
The bell-shaped protuberance on its head fires narrow beams of intense heat, hot enough to cut through metal. Once it has used this to bring down prey, Magmorish devours it with its gnashing teeth.
It bathes in lava, storing thermal energy within its body to keep it warm while swimming through frigid waters. When it lies on an ice floe to rest, it will gradually melt through it until it falls back into the water.
Togedra rests in the stillness and silence of the seafloor. It only rises to the surface on perfectly still days, bringing hope to sailors becalmed at sea, as the wind seems to whip up shortly after it appears.
Togeking seek to live in places that lack any aggressive people or Pokémon. They mostly do this so that they can eat in peace, but if their tranquility is disturbed, they may suddenly respond with terrifying violence.
The slow turning of its gears makes only the softest of sounds. Their mechanical power is rapidly drained by any conflict, requiring a period of peace and calm to fully recharge their energy.
Togeflame rescue people and Pokémon from danger, flying in to carry them away to safety in their talons. It is unclear how they know where to go to do this, but it is said that they only arrive right at the moment all hope seems lost.
Togesect seek out quiet forests in which they can sit beneath trees, and are nourished by the plants without harming them. Their spores can be used to reduce stress and grant peaceful sleep.
Wild Togesect flee from violence, preferring to live in peaceful regions. It is said that fighting would cease if only Togesect's spores could be scattered upon all participants in conflict.
As it mimes, Sandmime constantly balances on a ball of what appears to be hard-packed dirt, but is actually part of its body. This ball has no eyes or limbs, and so relies on its other half to roll it around.
Sandkarp burrows in the sand at the side of rivers. It is easily swept away by the current, and frequently digs a new home to live in because it is too weak to swim back upriver to a previous resting place.
Sandos burrows through the sand by moving in a corkscrew motion. If it senses the vibrations of another Pokémon moving above it, it will leap out to try to seize it in its powerful jaws.
Most of Sandtom's body consists of floating grains of sand. Sandtom can rub these together so quickly that sparks of electricity will be generated.
Sandsect's pointed shell resembles the tomb of an ancient king, and its hardened surface protects Sandsect from attack. Although there is an opening, the only thing hidden within is a spore-producing fungus.
Sandsect's pointed shell resembles the tomb of an ancient king, and its hardened surface protects Sandsect from attack. Although there is an opening, the only thing hidden within is a spore-producing fungus.
Adapted for cold environments, this Sandsect's shell resembles a shelter made from snow. It helps to protect the fungus inside from the cold.
Yanstar moves its tentacles in rapid circles to drive itself through the water. Although it is a slow swimmer at first, over time it will build up more and more momentum until it catches up to prey and seizes it in its jaws.
While its large eyes give it excellent 360-degree vision, the size of its head relative to its body makes Yanma unbalanced. If it does not carefully counter this as it flies, it will start diving straight down towards the ground.
It makes its home in lakes and ponds, sleeping in the mud at the bottom. By beating its wings rapidly underwater, it can swim with great speed in pursuit of other Bug Pokémon, churning the water into whirlpools behind it.
Even while running along the ground, it beats its wings to increase its speed. Its rapid movement is powered by the electricity it stores within its body.
Their double tails and extra wings make Yanmega slightly more maneuverable in the air. However, it also makes them much louder, and the turbulence created by their many beating wings generates shock waves that are dangerous to anyone nearby.
The shock waves produced by Yandra's rapidly beating wings cause devastating internal injuries to other Pokémon. Yandra's soft and gooey body seems to function as a shock absorber, preventing it from being harmed by its own attacks.
Yansect can control the movement of the spores produced by the mushroom on its back, moving them around like wings. Their high-speed vibrations can generate shock waves powerful enough to knock other Pokémon unconscious.
Leafras spends most of its time on isolated beaches, blending in with the sand dunes as it takes in sunlight with its leaves. If anyone disturbs it, it will swim away in search of a more remote island.
Leafblim flies high up in the atmosphere, giving its body sunlight even on cloudy days. When it needs water, it catches the wind with its long leaves and steer itself into the tops of clouds.
Leaftom mows grass to a precise height as it passes over it. By varying the height it cuts to, Leaftom can create patterns on lawns. It seems to prefer cutting abstract shapes rather than neat lines.
To give its leaves more light, Leafloon will float up to the treetops, and cling with its tails to the highest branch it can find. On windy days it may be blown away, and drift for miles until it catches itself on another tree.
Glaceras is well-adapted to swim in frigid oceans. If threatened by a predator, it can freeze the water around it into sharp spikes of ice, then dive below the surface to escape.
Glacelix's body is made of ice, compressed into crystals harder than rock. To avoid melting, it does not dig too deep, but tunnels through the cold rock closer to the surface.
Glacezor's frozen body is as hard as steel. Its flapping wings are part of a natural refrigeration system, and Glacezor will warm up the air behind it while keeping its body temperature low.
Glacedra sleeps in deep water beneath ice sheets. It only rises to the surface if the ice above it melts, and it will create howling blizzards as it hunts for food before diving back below to rest.
It burrows beneath the frozen tundra. To protect itself from attacks, it curls up into a ball, then freezes its insulating fur into sharp spikes.
Its body temperature is so low that a smooth layer of ice forms on its skin. This minimizes drag as it flies low above the tundra.
Its blade and shield are both made of durable ice. If either becomes chipped by a heavy impact, Glaceslash will freeze moisture in the air to repair it.
Glaceking's body is complexly covered by plates of icy armor. This armor is particularly thick on its tail, which Glaceking uses to both strike foes and burrow through snow.
Glaceblim keep the gas inside their bodies lighter than air by taking in heat from their surroundings. If Glaceblim fly through a cloud, snow will begin to fall on the ground below.
Glacetom expels heat from inside its body, keeping its inside cold. While Trainers can use it like a refrigerator, if Glacetom engages in combat food and drink may fall out when its doors open, or be frozen solid by the icy air it expels.
Glaceloon absorbs heat from the air around it to expand the gas inside its body. This enables it to rise, and creates showers of glistening ice crystals wherever it travels.
Glacenix's spiky body enables it to quickly move through the snow. To protect itself from attack, it builds up additional layers of ice to make these spikes longer.
Glacenix's spiky body enables it to quickly move through the snow. To protect itself from attack, it builds up additional layers of ice to make these spikes longer.
Glislax is a ravenous scavenger, capable of eating almost anything. Some Glislax even prefer to eat spoiled food that would poison most other Pokémon.
Ambushing prey during sandstorms, Glisitar seizes its target in its pincers, then sinks its fangs in to drink blood. Its hide is so thick that it doesn't worry about any attacks the struggling foe may make.
Glisect uses its claws and tail to cling to the side of trees, feeding on bark. Glisect makes no attempt to hide, as its many bright spots serve as a warning to other Pokémon that its spores are poisonous.
Indifferent to the cold, the ice that forms on Mamodon's cold back armors it against attacks from behind. Its long horn is made of solid stone and is used by Mamodon to tunnel through any snow or ice that blocks its path.
Although they are made entirely of ice, Mamomie's glowing white tusks frequently attract the attention of Pokémon poachers. Mamomie always float away before they get close and seems to be able to smell hostile intent.
To attack distant foes, Mamoperior will forcefully throw rocks and balls of ice, or even a hard-packed mixture of both. If foes get close, it attacks with its horns, with its thick hide and icy armor protecting it from damage.
The Shellder on its tail resembles fossils from the ice age. It is unknown why these ancient Shellder had tusks, but Mamobro uses them to charge at any foes that try to approach it from behind.
The horn on its head functions like a powerful drill. Malicious hackers have been known to use it to break through firewalls.
Its two pincers appear to move independently from the rest of its body. It is theorized that each of them has its own artificial intelligence.
Porymence moves through cyberspace as if it were flying. If it ever becomes enraged, its virtual rampages cause computer servers to catch fire.
Poryra exclusively moves through teleportation, but doesn't always transport its entire body to the same place. Its appearances and disappearances are accompanied by visible pixelation and audible static.
Porykazam is a digital being with enough intelligence to edit its own code, granting it incredible adaptability. However, the changes it makes often result in glitches.
It makes its home in a tree in the forest, and then seldom leaves. Treekoth lies so still that a layer of moss grows on its body.
The leaves on its body provide camouflage in the jungle. However, Groroth is incapable of remaining still, and chases after prey rather than waiting in ambush.
Scepnite flies high above the jungle, vigilant for any threats. It has been known to drive away loggers with swings of its powerful tail, then scatter seeds across the deforested area to help it regrow.
Scepziken is a master of jungle combat. It will climb up into the trees, then drop down on foes from above, striking with punches, kicks and its powerful tail.
It makes its nest on the forest floor, remaining close to water. It carefully cultivates the plants that grow around it, concealing its home behind thick foliage.
Scepchomp hides in the thick undergrowth of jungles to stealthily approach its prey, then suddenly rushes out of hiding to attack with its sharp claws and fangs. Its footsteps are usually silent, but can shake the earth when it runs.
Although the fins on Scepchomp's arms are actually large leaves, their edges are sharp enough to cut through solid rock. It prefers to remain on the forest floor, hiding in undergrowth, then leaping out to attack prey.
Torchtu stare up at the sun all day, and will grow hotter as the sun glows brighter. On overcast days, the fire they spit out will be at its weakest, and they will try to fly away rather than fight.
Sandturne has sand flowing through its veins, so it has little need for water. It uses its sharp claws to slash through the tough desert vegetation it eats, as well as to hunt Grass-type Pokémon.
Comtu mostly hops around instead of flying. This constant exercise strengthens its legs, enabling them to deliver powerful kicks despite their short length.
In combat, Comtu flap their wings to lift themselves into the air, then deliver a series of rapid-fire kicks using both legs. Comtu always seems to anticipate where foes will flee to and makes sure to get there first.
Comtu practice their kicks all day while staring up at the sun, never taking their eyes off it for a second. This seems to give them an uncanny ability to strike foes without even looking at them.
Comlia dances like a ballet dancer whenever the weather is sunny, clearly excited. The warm weather will increase the intensity of the fire that forms around it as it spins and twirls.
Comlade has enough psychic power to temporarily float. In combat, it mostly uses this ability to give it more time to land its flying kicks.
Blatu breathes fire out of its mouth and mostly uses this to cook shoots and leaves before it eats them. While its reach is limited by its small size, Blatu can leap towards foes to relentlessly attack them with both its beak and talons.
While Blatu mostly uses kicks in combat, their powerful wings can strike foes with the force of a punch. They can engulf their entire body in bright fire, making their feathers glow like the sun.
At the end of every year, all of its feathers burn away. Blageot hides itself away until they grow back in, not wanting to be seen until it can reveal its glorious new plumage.
It can ignite the dry brush of its tail in order to frighten foes. Although this often starts forest fires, Blatile will carefully cultivate the plants that regrow afterwards.
Blavoir floats just above the ground on a cloud of warm air it creates. To protect its Trainer, it can concentrate this heat into a ball of fire hot enough to melt rock.
When challenged, Blalade can create blades made out of fire. It is incredibly honorable, and refuses to ever back down from a fight.
Blaking mostly remains calm and is difficult to provoke. If it is angered, its coat of feathers will suddenly burst into flames, enabling Blaking to deliver blazing kicks and punches.
Blaking's legs are powerful enough for it to leap into trees, and its sharp claws can deliver powerful slashes. Blaking rarely has to use these abilities, as a brief demonstration of its speed and strength is usually sufficient to make foes flee.
Blaking waits patiently at the base of trees, then punches the trunk as soon as the fruit above is ripe. This attack leaves a fist-shaped scorch mark on the bark and makes all the fruit immediately drop.
It flies using magnificent feathered wings, roaring and breathing fire to intimidate foes. With its strong legs, it can swoop down to deliver kicks, then push itself off the ground and into the air with great speed.
The fin on its head senses air and water movement, making Mudba difficult to ambush as it swims or flies. If it detects a predator and cannot find anything to hide behind, Mudba will try to dive underwater and bury itself in mud at the bottom.
Mudian can fly using the wings on its back or tuck them away to swim using its four arms. Although none of these are particularly strong on their own, if it uses all four, it can pick up heavy boulders.
Swampziken's powerful legs can move it with enough speed to run across the surface of lakes. It prefers this to swimming, as keeping its body dry avoids quenching its own flames.
Due to being highly territorial, Swampking each claim a section of swampland and drive off any intruders. They use their powerful arms and tail to knock down foes, and rely on the toxic spikes covering their body for protection.
The mushrooms on Ralras's back feed on positive emotions. Although its other senses are poor, Ralras uses the emotion-sensing horn on its head to seek out cheerful people.
Kiras is nourished by happiness and will do its best to always please its Trainer. When the two have a strong bond, the mushrooms on Kiras's back will grow larger and have more vibrant colors.
The horns Kirsect uses to focus its psychic powers are located on top of the mushroom on its back, rather than on its head. Complex chemical communications within the fungus generate most of the psychic energy Kirsect uses.
Garderas is incredibly protective of the mushrooms on its back. If anyone tries to touch them, even its Trainer, it will drive them back using all the psychic force it can muster.
Gardeuk's gelatinous body constantly produces chemicals, many of which have medical uses. The concentrated mixture is incredibly toxic to touch, and Gardeuk will carefully avoid direct contact with its Trainer.
Gallbusken can use its psychic power to see into the future. In combat, it will predict its opponent's next move, then strike first with telekinetic attacks or devastating kicks.
Gallziken has a unique fighting style, combining powerful kicks with slashes from the blades on its elbows. It reads its opponent's thoughts, and always stays one step ahead.
Gallsol can predict the immediate future, but cannot prevent anything it foresees from happening. The only way it can use this information is to react to events at the exact moment they occur, giving it a slight advantage in combat.
Shedturn lies motionless on the ground, its antennae glowing with eerie bioluminescence to lure in prey. Anyone who touches Shedturn will be shocked, and if this stuns them, Shedturn's hollow body will swallow them whole.
Although hollow, its body is harder than steel and unharmed by most attacks. However, its paper-thin shell is incredibly flammable.
Shedsect's body is completely hollow, with nothing inside its hard dry shell except for white spores. These spores float out to leech life from any living thing they touch, then return back to Shedsect's dark interior.
It has sharp, toxic barbs all over its body. If it is ever wronged, it will press its own hand against one of these spikes, cursing its foe to physically suffer from Nidonette's poisonous resentment.
The fungus on Kecsect's back is capable of changing the color of its pigments. Rather than using this to blend in, it uses this to stand out, as a warning to other Pokémon that its spores are toxic.
Beldoof has nerves of steel, which channel the magnetic pulses it uses to move its body around. Its metal teeth constantly grow, and Beldoof will gnaw on rocks to keep them from becoming too long.
The red balls on Belsect's back are actually the spores of its metallic mushroom. People and Pokémon frequently mistake them for gemstones, but if they are grabbed they will find that they are soft and sticky.
Metadon has five brains, one inside its head and the other four in the shoulders of its arms. None of them are particularly large, so it doesn't attempt any strategies more complex than lowering its horn and charging straight at foes.
Metabull's strong jaws and iron fangs can tear through rock and metal, and it will loudly clash them to intimidate foes. It is surprisingly cautious and calculating, and will flee any battle it doesn't think it can win.
Metaking mostly eats metal and lies next to piles of it in junkyards to slowly devour anything within reach. If the pile of scrap collapses on top of Metaking, it will be protected by its durable iron hide and will simply eat its way out.
Metadra's metallic body constantly drips with slime, insulating it against heat and preventing it from rusting. While Metadra is usually quiet and contemplative, its four arms can all deliver powerful punches that hit as hard and fast as bullets.
Swarms of Bidum move in unison to carve up trees together. If given instructions to follow, their sharp teeth can construct practically anything out of wood.
Bitang has two brains, but both are completely focused on dam construction. It can float in the air using psychic power, and mostly uses this to remove branches from trees before felling them.
Bigross remains calm in all situations, so if a dam it builds bursts, Bigross will start repairing it even as water is still pouring out. Even if it is swept away, its wooden body is too durable to be harmed as it floats downstream.
It hates the cold, so it spends the summer cutting down trees with its fangs to build a shelter from wood and mud. In winter, Bible will try to invite in Fire-type Pokémon for extra warmth.
Bibite dam rivers with walls of earth and wood. They hoard shiny objects inside a shelter that they build into this dam, accessible only through a secret underwater entrance.
The protuberances on its head enable it to sense prey underwater. Its streamlined body enables it to swiftly approach prey, then bite down with its large fangs.
Bilu is very industrious, and constantly uses its wings to clean. In the wild they try their best to clean the wooden shelters built by Bidoof, but they seem to be much happier keeping a human house spotless and tidy.
Spirifa only emerges from its keystone on starry nights. During the day, people may mistake them for statues and place them on display. When nobody is watching, Spirifa will move themselves to a spot with a better view of the sky.
Spirifairy are occasionally seen among gatherings of Clefairy dancing under the moon, but the other Pokémon always avoid it. After silently watching them all night, it will vanish just before sunrise.
Spirifable can float up into the air, but always remains tethered to its keystone. If the moon is full, it will fly as high as it can, stretching its tether to its limit, but still unable to leave the ground behind.
When first emerging from its keystone, Spirifable can disguise itself as a Clefable. People sometimes seek them out to wish for healing, but their true form will quickly be revealed, which usually frightens people away.
It focuses its aura into spheres as hard as its rocky hide. It then launches them from its palms at high speed.
Lucagon-Z can detect people by sensing their auras. Researchers once attempted to integrate it into an advanced imaging system, but humans who viewed the images it produced on screens only felt nauseous and confused.
Lucagon can float in the air, held aloft by draconic wings made out of its own aura. Their slow beating produces a low-pitched hum.
Its powerful arms and the sharp spike on its chest make its hugs incredibly dangerous. Lucawear reserves its embrace for its enemies and will express affection by patting its Trainer on the back or head with its fluffy hands instead.
Lucaras can assess the health of plants by sensing their aura. While this makes it useful to gardeners, in the wild, Lucaras use this ability to find trees that are rotting from the inside and then feed on them until they die.
Gibdoof use their constantly growing front teeth to gnaw holes in the sides of cliffs. When it hears prey approaching, it leaps out to ambush them.
Gibsect are usually found in natural hot springs, submerged in the warm water with only their fin above the surface. They derive nutrition from chemicals dissolved in the water, but will still bite anyone who tries to bathe in the same pool.
Gardos's streamlined body enables it to swim at high speed, and even fly short distances. Anglers regard it as one of the most challenging Pokémon to catch, and many are pulled into the water by it.
While awkward on land, Gardactyl can fly fast through the sky, using its long tail for extra power and maneuverability. The claws on its wings are sharp enough to slice through steel if it is flying at top speed.
Its teeth are the most sensitive part of its body, and as it toddles about, it will bite any unfamiliar object it sees. It also bites to show affection and must be trained not to use its teeth with too much force outside of combat.
Garsey senses emotions using the large protuberances on its head. Garsey approaches people who have given up to fill them with determination using its red egg, although they must be willing to pull hard to get it out of the indent on Garsey.
Gartile uses the sharp claws on its arms to climb up trees, and the protuberances on its head to sense movement on the ground below. It then drops down on prey from above, gliding short distances with its fins to catch prey that tries to flee.
Gartile can cut down trees with a single swing of one of its sharp scythes. The seeds on its back can detonate like bombs, either launching its tail like a missile or propelling Gartile forward to attack.
Its teeth and claws never stop growing. Its need to constantly wear them down will leave deep gouges in trees and rocks outside the cave it lives in.
This slothful dragon spends most of its time in its cave. It occasionally moves with incredible speed, but only because it knows that the quicker it finds food, the sooner it can go back to sleep.
Although its body isn't streamlined, Garbarel's powerful tail can still drive it through the water at high speed. Once it catches up to prey, it will sink its sharp teeth and claws in.
The mushroom on Garsect's back seems to be incredibly sensitive to air movements. The slightest movement of air across it can cause Garsect to spin around, ready to defend itself with razor-sharp claws and toxic spores.

Shielgey mostly remains on the ground, as its heavy head weighs it down and throws off its balance. When it nests on the forest floor, its head is large enough to entirely cover its body.
The hard plating on Bastiophan's head protects it from even the fiercest frontal assault. In some depictions of ancient warfare, lines of Bastiophan were used as shield walls, with people behind them using their ears as cover.
The fastest way for Bastiophan to travel is to roll itself along the ground. Although slow at first, once its spiked treads build up momentum, almost nothing will be able to stop it.

Aside from the glowing red eye inside its skull, Dusdactyl resembles a fossilized Aerodactyl skeleton. Although there is no webbing between the bones of its wings, it can still flap them to fly.
The shell on its back is made of solid bone. If the many red eyes within focus their gaze on a single target, the unsettling sight may make the target faint with fright.

Torai lives in forest glades, remaining still in imitation of a tree. Although anyone who sleeps nearby will suffer from bad dreams, taking away some of the pure springwater flowing out of it to drink before bed will result in peaceful sleep.
Chimtly uses the burning gas around its body to lift it into the air. It remains inside caves on cliffs during windy days; if its flame is blown out, it will immediately fall to the ground.
While the claws on its hands and feet are normally ice-cold, it can snatch fire from its own head to make blazing-hot attacks instead. Small groups of them hunt together, coordinating their agile movements to take down prey.
Piprua use illusions to disguise themselves as young Pokémon or as human children, to trick others into feeding them. They won't accept anything unless they feel they have earned it through deception.

Saladra's body is too heavy for it to fly for long, and it seems to be disappointed whenever it lands. Its wings are still incredibly strong, and it can use them or its tail to knock foes that get too close while flying.
Driven by its gears, Klinkdon's red horn can drill through even reinforced concrete, quickly toppling even the sturdiest of buildings. The constant, high-speed rotation of Klinkdon's spiked wheel protects it from attacks from behind and the sides.
Klinkmime's miming is accompanied by the sound of its constantly turning gears. Klinkmime is safe to interact with and climb on, as invisible barriers prevent anything from being caught in its gears.

Klinknite's mechanical movements are powered by puffs of steam. It must regularly refill its boiler, but if flying over the ocean Klinknite can swallow seawater and never need to rest on land.
The spiked wheel on Klinktar's head can spin with enough speed and force reduce solid rock to rubble. Klinktar then eats this rock, grinding it into dust with its internal gears so that it can extract trace amounts of metallic ore to build its shell.
Driven by internal mechanisms, Klinktar can spin its spiky gear at high speed to tunnel through the earth or roll around above ground. Since these metal spikes can begin to move at any time, even inactive Klinktar are dangerous to approach.

Klinkyu's movements are entirely mechanical, although it has no obvious source of power. If it does not receive any displays of affection from others, it will gradually move slower and slower until it stops moving.
After receiving affection from its Trainer, Klinkyu's gears turn faster, moving it with more speed and power. The shape of its shadow does not match its metal body, and the colourful edges can make it appear three-dimensional.
Klinkoth's gears regularly jam, preventing it from moving. While Trainers can repair them to enable them to spin at high speed, their cogs will quickly lock up once again.
Gears inside Klinkroth spin at high speed, constantly charging it with energy. Moving like a well-oiled machine, Klinkroth never tires or needs to rest.
Although its blue body is filled with buoyant gas, its heavy gears weigh it down, preventing it from flying high. When the wind blows, its two hanging cogs clink together to make a musical sound.
Although its red body is filled with buoyant gas, its heavy gears weigh it down, preventing it from flying high. When the wind blows, its two hanging cogs clink together to make a musical sound.
The most powerful part of Klinkxew's body is its red gear, which can be swung like a weapon at any enemy approaching from behind, or interlocked with the cog on the back of its head to spin the gears around its mouth at high speed.
The two sets of metal gears on either side of Klinkxure's head are powerful weapons when ground against foes at close quarters. These cogs can also be fired off as spinning projectiles, although Klinkxure must run after them to retrieve them.
Klinkzma's gears are turned by an internal engine, which belches out black smoke at regular intervals. It can produce flashes of red light that become brighter the faster its mechanism runs.
The mechanical gears inside its shoulders give its metal arms more power than a hydraulic press. Since it enjoys gripping things tightly, its strength can be utilized to crush old cars in junkyards so that they take up less space.
The gears on its back power the chainsaw in front of it. Once it has sawn apart a tree, Klinkras will devour the wood chippings it creates, digesting them into fuel for its own internal mechanisms.
Klinksand is usually found on top of slag heaps from coal mines, scavenging for fuel for the furnaces that power the turning of its gears. The thick black smoke that rises from its chimneys is incredibly toxic to inhale.
