The molten body of a Ho-cargo is constantly billowing with color. It leaves a similarly rainbow-colored trail that is dangerous to touch, as even the cast-off magma is said to be as hot as the surface of the sun.
The shell on its back is made of hardened magma. Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy.
