Magoh ingest and melt rocks within their crop, a stomach-like organ located within their throat, allowing them to absorb the minerals necessary for sustaining their flames. Magoh use the magma byproduct as a nasty, burning projectile in battle.
Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
