Although its hairs seem soft, petting a Jolrino will result in irritating microscopic stings. The stinging hairs are not venomous, but Jolrino's horn is.

Jolrino cannot generate its own electricity and mostly relies on the poisonous spines beneath its fur to discourage attacks. If it finds a source of electricity such as a power line or transformer, it will plunge its horn in to charge itself up.

Its horn is harder than a diamond. They attach themselves to large-bodied Pokémon and absorb static electricity, which they store in an electric pouch.
