When placed in water, Onkarp will sink like a stone. While Onkarp can burrow through the ground, its weak muscles only allow it to make slow progress.

Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents. There is a magnet in its brain that prevents an Onkarp from losing direction while tunneling.
