Wild Parasand are usually found at the center of rings of colorful mushrooms. While some people refer to them as fairy castles, Parasand will drain the life-force of any Pokémon that tries to use it as shelter.

Buried beneath the castle are masses of dried-up bones from those whose vitality it has drained. Parasand are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
