Parader scuttle across the sea floor in search of food. When faced with danger, they tuck their limbs within the bell of their gigantic mushroom, hiding away until the danger has passed.

At night, it burrows a hole in the seafloor with its broad tongue to make a place to sleep. Parader are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
