Lapode swim towards hydroelectric powerplants to feed upon the electricity they generate, but explode if they are sucked into their turbines. To protect dams from damage, most wild Lapode have either been captured or unfused.
They appear in great numbers at electric power plants. People have driven Lapode almost to the point of extinction.
