Paracada dig down to tree roots to feed, but leave the mushrooms on their back exposed to scatter spores. Paracada will remain completely motionless until the tree they are feeding on dies, at which point they will crawl away searching for another.
Paracada compete with Paras for food, often battling their fellow Bug-type for control over specific trees. Paracada with particularly dense mushroom growth show heightened aggression, suggesting they are attempting to infect Paras with their spores.
