Zuroth's skin is easily burned by bright sunlight, so it only goes outside at night. During the day, it hides within dark caves, but it spends little time sleeping and instead rushes around bothering other Pokémon.
It can't keep still because its blood boils with energy. While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision.
