Paracott can slip through the smallest of cracks. During the day they use this ability to burrow underground and eat plant roots, while at night they squeeze into human homes to leave fungal spores in every dark, damp place they can find.

Riding whirlwinds, they appear. Paracott are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
